Well, I can't confirm, but that is what they looked like to us. The clerk at the flower shop was not the owner and said she wasn't sure, but she thinks that's what they are and apparently people decorate with them. i wonder if they are the same kind that you eat with cheese and breadcrumbs, baked, or if there are different varieties.
i like the poof balls next to them, too. very photogenic "flowers".
i don't know what these green puffs are called, but they sure are beautiful!
this arrangement really caught my eye and with the three silver pails holding the green poofs, i knew it would make a great photo.

artichokes are so cool. you know flowers become the fruit, it's cool that if those are artichokes, they are the flower and the fruit.
and these green poof balls are cute, they remind me of the bjork or sugarcubes(?) logo type thing. i think she has a tattoo of this, it's like an asterisk with circles on the ends. i wanna go on vacation.
