i just thought of something (i think is) really funny!!

to throw people off the track of what you are getting them for Christmas, start asking them really specific questions a few weeks before Christmas. they can't help but assume it's in regard to their Christmas present.

for instance, send them an email or a voice mail asking what size shoes they wear, or what color plastic they prefer, or whether they prefer digital to analog, or whether they are busy on Jan 9th....
you know stuff like that.

then they'll think they are onto you, and be really surprised come Christmas...or at least really confused!

reason i thought of this: i recently asked peanut and bert what movie theatre they go to....thinking i'd get them movie passes, but instead i think we'll get them a nice bottle of liquor. i just thought it was funny when i pictured them looking confused -- they both having such cute "i'm confused" faces. even if they won't remember or it's just funny to me...it's still so funny to me!

i am definitely going to do this to you guys next year ;)
